  • Helping Hands of the Thin Blue Line

The Oneonta Police Department and the Blount County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with Anchors Church, the Blount County Civitans, and WCRL 95.3, will be accepting donations of certain items at the Anchors Church campus on Saturday, September 16, from 8 a.m. to noon.

These items will be used for families that are in need when encountered by law enforcement. Officers often encounter families that live in heartbreaking conditions, and sometimes the officers pay out of pocket to help these families.
